From time to time, SMAC announces a "Call for Artists." As a member, you have the chance to showcase your talent in the annual Members Show, where you can exhibit your latest creations and connect with fellow artists in the community. Additionally, don't miss the highly anticipated "3" x 3" Show," a unique exhibition featuring artworks specifically designed within a 3-inch square format.
Beyond these opportunities, the art center also presents occasional other chances to participate in diverse artistic endeavors. This page will be the place to find information for any other events where a call for artists is given. Embrace this amazing chance to display your art and join us in celebrating the creativity that flourishes within our community.
Annual Call For Artists
Member Show
Each year, SMAC members unique artistic voices present a wide range of styles, media and artistic experiences. The next member show is scheduled for January 2024.
3"x3" Post-It Note Art Show & Fundraiser
Every October, join us for this fun exhibit and fundraiser. Artists from all over create 3"x3" size art which is sold for $5.00. Half of the proceeds go to benefit SMAC Art Center and the other half goes back to the artist.
The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) offers a12 month Artist-in-Residence program made possible by a grant from SRAC and Community Foundation of the Ozarks. It commences each
September and is designed for emerging artists who need time and space to develop their voices.
