SMAC invites interested artists to submit exhibition proposals for 2027. All proposals should aim to present exhibitions that are aesthetically strong as well as provide an opportunity to explore topics of cultural, artistic, and social relevance.

The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will host a solo exhibit featuring the work of artist Kevin Kelly entitled The Opposite of Breaking News. The show will run July 3 through August 1 at the SMAC Art Center, 7 Downing Street, in historic Hollister, MO.

Join artist/instructor Janette Johnson to learn Kinusaiga Japanese style patchwork! This unique contemporary art form uses fabric pieces to create intricate collages without sewing. Janette will guide participants step-by-step to create a beautiful dragonfly with cattail artwork.

Cosplay Figure Drawing is always the fourth Tuesday of the month. If improving your drawing skills is on your to-do list, this event is for you. For each session, a model comes dressed in a different cosplay costume.
