OPPORTUNITIES
For artists from all backgrounds and disciplines, the SMAC Art Center offers a wealth of intriguing alternatives. Artists are encouraged to take part in the exciting "Call for Artists," which provides an opportunity to present their work and achieve notoriety in the neighborhood. The art center also offers adaptable "Studio Rental" alternatives that let artists create their own rooms and immerse themselves in a welcoming atmosphere. The opportunity to instruct and motivate others is provided by the ability to submit "Workshop Proposals" for those ready to share their knowledge. The center also accepts "Exhibition Proposals" from artists who want to organize distinctive exhibitions and engage audiences. Last but not least, the "Artisan Residence Application" program gives artists the ability to practice their skill in a designated area, encouraging creativity and development. The SMAC Art Center is a dynamic place for artists to express their creativity and interact with other artists!

The application deadline for 2023 has passed. Our Residency program, which commences in September, is designed for emerging artists who need time and space to develop their voices.
The vision behind the SMAC artist studios is to bring local artists together in a collaborative and communal space where they can work and inspire one another creatively.
