Butterfly Garden/Plant Stake Workshop with Julie Zetina

Join artist/instructor Julie Zetina for a creative and relaxing workshop where art meets nature! In this hands-on class, participants will design and craft a vibrant butterfly garden stake using colorful mosaic tiles, glass pieces, beads, and ceramic tid-bits.

Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike, this workshop provides step-by-step instruction of the mosaic process. Learn about design layout, color selection, adhesion, and finishing techniques. Julie will grout and attach stakes off-site and return to SMAC for pick up at a later date. These beautiful, weather-resistant butterfly stakes are ready to brighten a garden, flower pot, or outdoor space.

NOTE: Participant’s results will vary from the examples shown. This class is geared toward open-ended outcomes for each individual artist.

The fee for this workshop is $45 and includes all materials including pre-cut butterfly bases, all supplies & tools, grouting services and guidance.
