Festive Fall Ceramic Pumpkin Workshop (Afternoon Session) with Julie Zetina

Fall & pumpkins... they just go together! Join Julie Zetina for this timely Festive Fall Ceramic Pumpkin Workshop! In this fun clay workshop, participants will design & sculpt their own ceramic pumpkin over the course of two Saturday afternoon classes. During the first session, participants will select and alter a hollow, wheel-thrown form into the shape of a pumpkin then add some character by creating a leafy, vine-laden lid with a twisted, gnarled stem. All work will be kiln fired off-site in preparation for glazing. 

During the second session, participants will choose from a limited selection of glazes to apply to their pumpkins. All pieces will be fired a final time and returned to SMAC for pick up. Please note: although guidance and instruction is provided, all work will be created solely by each participant therefore pumpkins will vary in appearance.
