Fused Glass Summer Waves with Kat Weltha

Learn the basics of cutting and fusing glass with instructor Kat Weltha in this Fused Glass Summer Waves workshop! Students will draw their own pattern for this project, then arrange pieces of cut glass to make a beautiful wave sun catcher. The class will include information on the science and technique of fusing glass. 

Kat will demonstrate then students will use several tools commonly implemented in the art of making fused glass. Safety glasses will be required for the duration of the class- NO EXCEPTIONS. Standard prescription eye glasses are not considered adequate protection. Safety glasses and over-glasses safety glasses will be provided. Participants who have their own personal safety glasses are encouraged to bring them. 

This is a beginner level class, open to students ages 18 to adult. All tools and materials are included in the class fee of $55 per person.
