The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will host a solo exhibit featuring the work of artist Jenny Green, entitled Love the Mother. The show will run May 1-30 at the SMAC Art Center, 7 Downing Street, in historic Hollister, MO.
Jenny Green is a full-time artist working from her printmaking studio at New Moon Studio Space in Springfield, MO. Her current work focuses on screenprinting her own hand drawn designs in a multiplicity of color palettes. Her exhibit at SMAC will feature serigraphic works and cyanotypes, all depicting the female form. The exhibit is a celebration of womanhood in her many forms and is perfectly timed to coincide with Mother's Day, Earth Day, and the season of renewal.
