Mosaic Stepping Stone Workshop (Redux)

Steppingstone Redux Workshop with Julie Zetina

Date and Time: Saturday, June 8, 12-4:30 p.m.

Location: SMAC Art Center, 7 Downing Street, Hollister, MO 65672

Experience level: Beginner to Advanced. Open to ages 12-adult. (Children 11 and under may take the workshop if accompanied by an adult.)

Fee: $60 per person (Hollister residents $30)

Back by request!!! If you missed out on last April’s Spring Mandala Steppingstone Workshop, you could still get in on the fun. Julie Zetina is offering a Steppingstone Redux Workshop on Saturday, June 8, 12:30-4:00 p.m. Julie will supply you with all the bling and goodies you could possibly want for designing your own unique steppingstone.  She will guide you on your designing process, after which, weather permitting, she will pour the concrete or assist you with pouring (if the weather is iffy, stones will be poured off site, if the weather cooperates, we will be pouring cement during the workshop) Once the concrete has been poured the stones will be set aside at SMAC for drying. The pickup date will be announced in the workshop since curing times vary with weather conditions.

The stones are intended for use in the garden and can be stepped on after additional curing. Or you may choose to beautify your porch or landscaped area. The class fee is $60, but if you live in Hollister the fee is only $30 (Thanks to a grant from the City of Hollister Parks & Recreation). Get registered early. The workshop will sell out quickly. Hollister residents make sure to put the word “Hollister” in the coupon code box at checkout when you buy your tickets, to secure the discount.
