Get to know your pet in an artistic way by painting their portrait at the Paint Your Pet Workshop! Join artist/instructor Finn Erickson at the SMAC Art Center for a fun evening of creativity!
Participants will need to send a photo of their pet to SMAC at info@smac-art.org no later than the day prior to class. Finn will enlarge the photo and transfer the outline of your pet onto an 8”x10” canvas, ready for you to paint at the workshop. Only one animal per canvas is permitted.
With the pet’s outline already on the canvas, success with this painting is achievable even for a beginner! The class is also fun for intermediate and advanced artists, too! Finn will guide you every step of the way- from color matching, to various painting techniques, to capturing the textures of fur.
All supplies and materials are included in the fee of $40.
