The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the seventh annual Post-It Note, 3"x3" Art Show at the SMAC gallery at 7 Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. Each year, SMAC invites local artists to create miniature 3” x 3” artworks on paper, canvas, or other substrate.

About the event
The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the seventh annual Post-It Note, 3"x3" Art Show at the SMAC gallery at 7 Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. Each year, SMAC invites local artists to create miniature 3” x 3” artworks on paper, canvas, or other substrate for this unique exhibit. Several hundred pieces are expected to be submitted for the show, ranging from paintings and drawings to 3D and mixed media designs. All art will be sold for just $5 each. Proceeds are split between the artist and SMAC. This novel event is an important fundraiser for SMAC, helping to cover operating expenses of the Art Center. The show runs October 2-30.
The opening reception will be Friday, October 2, from 6-9pm. Unlike other SMAC gallery exhibits, art bought at the show can be taken from the gallery at the time of purchase. Art is sold on a first come,…
