ROOTED: The Art of Trees- A Group Exhibit

The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present a group exhibit entitled ROOTED: The Art of Trees at the SMAC gallery at 7 Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. From traditional to symbolic, from conceptual to abstract, this exhibit explores the intriguing and multi-conceptual theme of trees. Forty artists present works in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, collage, photography, stained glass, and mixed media. The show runs March 6-28. An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 6, from 6-9pm. 

Many of the participating artists will be available to discuss their work during the reception.
