Horse enthusiasts will love painting this serene scene of evening light shining onto white horse. Sunset Beauty Acrylic Workshop is a two-day painting class with artist and instructor Peggy Dyke will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 9-10, from 6-8 p.m. This is a perfect time to learn how to capture the full body contour of a horse.

With two days to complete your canvas, you’ll be able to take your time and master the techniques more readily. Peggy will demonstrate each step and guide you as you follow along to create this majestic horse painting. So, don’t be intimidated if you are just a beginner. With Peggy’s teaching method, this painting is doable whether you are a beginner or an intermediate artist. There is something for everyone that can be learned in this workshop. The fee is $100/per person for both days, which covers everything you will need, including a 16”x20” canvas. Thanks to a generous grant from the City of Hollister Parks and Recreation Department, Hollister residents only pay half ($50).
